Our Bridge Programs are especially designed for professionals and graduates from outside Europe with the following qualifications:
- Bachelor or master's degree in Education, Psychology, Social Work or another related field
- Work experience in childhood education, childcare or youth counseling
- Readiness to acquire the necessary German proficiency for educators

Bridge Program Ausbildung
Prepare for a Remunerated Apprenticeship
Our Bridge Program: Ausbildung als Erzieher/in allows non-German bachelor graduates of any course who are passionate about the holistic development of children and willing to learn the required German proficiency for a 3-year paid apprenticeship in a German pre-school or daycare facility.
B1 German Language Certificate holders start with a 1-year internship (Praktikum) so they can improve their German and obtain the German Certificate required to take a 3-year apprenticeship (Ausbildung) towards becoming a certified Erzieher:in. Participants receive an allowance during their Praktikum and a training salary during their Ausbildung.

Prepare for a Company-Based Qualification
Our Bridge Program: Qualifizierung zur Pädagogischen Fachkraft allows seasoned teaching professionals from outside Europe who have a German-equivalent degree in Education or Social Pedagogy and the readiness to learn upper intermediate German (B2) become a certified Childhood Education Specialist (Pädagogische Fachkraft) in 12 to 18 months.
B1 German Language Certificate holders start with an internship (Praktikum) so they can obtain the B2 Certificate and be employed as teaching staff. Upon employment, participants take a 60-hour qualification course for becoming a certified pädagogische Fachkraft.
