Teach in Germany

If you have a passion for the holistic development of children from 0 to 12 years old, we can help you start your career as a childhood educator in an early education facility or Kita  in Germany.

Our Bridge Programs are especially designed for professionals and graduates from outside Germany with the following qualifications:

Our Bridge Programs for Childhood Educators

Bridge Program Ausbildung

Prepare for a Remunerated Apprenticeship

Our Bridge Program: Ausbildung is for fresh graduates of any course who wish to become an educator through a remunerated apprenticeship or Ausbildung in an early education or youth facility in Germany. The Ausbildung, which usually takes 3 years, combines theoretical education at a technical college – Fachschule or Berufskolleg – with practical work experience in early education facilities (Kitas) or youth welfare institutions.

While you are still in your home country, our Bridge Program: Ausbildung helps you acquire the required German proficiency (B2) for an apprenticeship while guiding you in completing your application dossier for technical colleges, early education and youth facilities and — for those from outside Europe — the visa application.

Those who have achieved intermediate German proficiency (B1) and completed their application dossier become part of the professional matching platform ProfiZentrale, where they can get discovered and interviewed by Kitas in Germany.

Bridge Program Qualifizierung

Prepare for a Company-Based Qualification

Our Bridge Program: Anerkennung allows experienced teaching professionals from outside Germany who have a completed degree in education and the readiness to acquire professional German proficiency become certified childhood educators in Germany through professional recognition or Anerkennung.

Our Bridge Program: Anerkennung comprises 4 German courses (A1, A2, B1 and B2) and 3 Job Training courses that help participants strengthen their credentials and prepare for job interviews and presentations in German. Participants have two paces to choose from: (1) the Intensive Track with fixed live group sessions, completed in 14 months, (2) the Flexi Track with live sessions booked as needed and completed in up to 30 months.

As soon as participants achieve intermediate German proficiency (B1), we help them get connected with Kitas in Germany through ProfiZentrale, the matching platform for international teachers and German Kitas.
